About the Role
Vision Surveys is seeking a full-time Construction Surveyor to join our team.
This role operates on a Fly-in, Fly-out (FIFO) roster of 2 weeks on, 1 week off from Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast or Gold Coast.
You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality surveying services across construction and civil projects while enjoying the flexibility of a structured roster.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field surveys, site measurements and data collection
- Prepare survey plans, reports and spatial data outputs
- Operate surveying instruments including GPS, total stations and digital levels
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications, legislation and safety requirements
- Liaise with clients, engineers, site managers and internal teams
- Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records
- Report to and communicate with the Survey Manager
- Proficient with Leica OR Trimble surveying equipment
- Experience using surveying software including 12d, Magnet and AutoCAD advantageous
- Degree or Diploma in Surveying or a related discipline
- Proven experience working as a Surveyor or in a similar surveying role
- Understanding of land surveying standards, processes and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Strong communication and organisational capabilities
- Current open driver’s licence
