About the Role
Vision Surveys is seeking a full time Surveyor to join our team based at our Gold Coast office. This position will play a key role in delivering high quality surveying services across a range of construction and civil projects; from local residential to large scale commercial developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field surveys, site measurements and data collection
- Prepare survey plans, reports and spatial data outputs
- Operate surveying instruments including GPS, total stations and digital levels
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications, legislation and safety requirements
- Liaise with clients, engineers, site managers and internal teams
- Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records
- Report to and communicate with survey manager
- Proficient with Leica OR Trimble surveying equipment
- Experience using surveying software including 12d, Magnet, AutoCAD advantageous
- Degree or Diploma in Surveying or a related discipline
- Proven experience working as a Surveyor (or in a similar surveying role)
- Understanding of land surveying standards, processes and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Strong communication and organisational capabilities
- Current open driver’s licence
