This opportunity is with one of our fast-growing entities, Vision Surveys. Vision Surveys (QLD) has been operating in Queensland for over a decade, with the three Directors having a combined local presence of over 50 years. They provide comprehensive Mining, Engineering, or Cadastral Land Surveying and Town Planning Consulting.
Vision Surveys (QLD) is an expanding Survey organisation that is currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic Senior Surveyor, based in Rockhampton. Vision Surveys (QLD) has a strong focus on ensuring our client base is well informed by supplying and delivering expert advice and practical solutions.
The Surveyor will be responsible for:
- Work with an established, fast paced and passionate team of surveyors focused on driving operational excellence and achieving individual and collective goals
- Work closely with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure that all survey requirements are met in line with client expectations
- Plan, coordinate, and execute survey projects, ensuring projects are completed on time and in line with compliance of relevant regulations and standardsPlan, coordinate, and execute survey projects, ensuring projects are completed on time and in line with compliance of relevant regulations and standards
- Manage the daily operations of surveying projects and survey reporting, analysing survey data and preparing maps and plans
- Participate in training and development programs
- Keep up to date with Queensland Survey Legislation, industry standards and regulations
- Support multiple projects simultaneously and travel to sites, when necessary
- Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Demonstrated proficiency and experience in using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Magnet and 12D)
- A high level of intrinsic drive and resilience to succeed in a fast-paced and competitive industry
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, constantly seeking ways to adapt in the industry to achieve business objectives
- High level of relevant industry experience and knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and industry regulations
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- The salary would be between $90 000 - $120 000 (depending on level of experience) + Super
- Work Ute and Work Laptop supplied
