About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Cadastral Surveyor to join our growing Rockhampton surveying team. This role offers the opportunity to lead cadastral and land development projects, provide expert advice on boundary and land tenure matters, and play a key role in mentoring the next generation of survey professionals.
Working across a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, infrastructure, and land development projects, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and compliant cadastral surveys while maintaining strong relationships with clients, government authorities, and industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver cadastral surveying projects across Australia.
  • Prepare and certify survey plans, subdivision plans, easements, boundary reinstatements, lease plans, and other cadastral documentation.
  • Provide authoritative advice on land tenure, boundary definition, survey legislation, and land administration matters.
  • Liaise with clients, developers, local councils, solicitors, planners, and government agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with state surveying legislation, cadastral standards, and registration requirements.
  • Oversee project delivery, including budgets, schedules, quality assurance, and client outcomes.
  • Mentor graduate surveyors and support candidates working towards registration.
  • Contribute to business development and client relationship management activities.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required
  • Registration as a Cadastral Surveyor in an Australian state or territory.
  • A degree qualification in Surveying, Spatial Science, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering cadastral and land development projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian cadastral systems, land administration frameworks, and survey regulations.
  • Experience using industry-standard survey software and modern survey technologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
  • A current Australian Driver Licence.
