We are on the lookout for a Payroll Officer to become a key part of our dynamic and supportive payroll team to join our Shellharbour team. This is more than just a numbers job, it is an opportunity to be part of a mission driven organisation making a real difference in the Community Services sector.

In this hands on role, you will be responsible for managing high volume payroll operations, supporting approximately 1,000 casual staff weekly. You will play a crucial part in keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
Your day-to-day will include:
  • Processing accurate and timely weekly payroll
  • End-of-month and end-of-year payroll balancing and reporting
  • Managing STP submissions and superannuation lodgements
  • Handling terminations, adjustments, and classification changes
  • Maintaining accurate personnel and client data in systems
  • Assisting the Payroll Manager and supporting team members
  • Weekly invoice processing for several   clients
  • Using platforms such as Salesforce, Sirenum, and 2CloudNine
