IT Support Technician

The opportunity
We are searching for a dedicated IT Support Technician to assist with the Level 1 & 2 support of technology platforms and end user computing environments. This role will ensure existing systems, infrastructure and end user computing are maintained, available, stable, and secure. The role will also coordinate with external vendors and be involved in projects that relate to the PeopleIn operational environment.

Key Accountabilities
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues at 1st and 2nd level support
  • Reviewing current systems to identify areas for improvement and working with the Manager, IT Operations to design and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Provides advice, problem solving and technical information to teams within the organisation.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned and within the scope of the position.
  • Creating technical documents and procedures
What you will need
  • Knowledge and experience supporting Windows Operating systems (Windows 10 and above)
  • Knowledge of system administration tools (Active Directory, PowerShell, O365 Admin etc.)
  • Ability to support various enterprise applications.
  • Customer and stakeholder management skills
  • Good knowledge of end-user computing technology (both desktop and mobile devices)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem solving and analytical skills.
Skills & Abilities
  • Proven experience working in the Power Platform suite.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Experience with common data service, data connectors, and APIs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Experience
  •   2-3 years’ experience working in an IT support team
  • Experience of Cloud technologies including Software as a Service, Infrastructure as a Service, and Contact Centre as a Service
  • Experience working in a windows environment with multiple domains
