Vision Surveys (QLD) has been operating in Queensland for over a decade, with the three Directors having a combined local presence of over 50 years. They provide comprehensive Mining, Engineering, or Cadastral Land Surveying and Town Planning Consulting.
About the Role
Vision Surveys is seeking a full time Construction Surveyor to join our growing team based at our Brisbane office located in Hendra. This position will play a key role in delivering high quality surveying services for major civil projects across Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform set-out for civil projects
- Conduct field surveys, site measurements and data collection
- Prepare survey plans, reports and spatial data outputs
- Operate surveying instruments including GPS, total stations and digital levels
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications, legislation and safety requirements
- Liaise with clients, engineers, site managers and internal teams
- Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records
- Degree or Diploma in Surveying or a related discipline
- Proven experience working as a Construction Surveyor (or in a similar surveying role)
- Strong technical proficiency with surveying equipment and software
- Understanding of land surveying standards, processes and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Strong communication and organisational capabilities
- Current open driver’s licence
