The opportunity
Are you a detail oriented finance professional who thrives in a supportive and purpose-led environment? We are looking for a Part-time Accounts, Payroll & Administration Officer to join our Recover at Work (RAW) team; a passionate group dedicated to helping employees return to work safely and successfully after injury.
In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth financial and administrative operations behind our national Recover at Work program. Your accuracy, organisation, and initiative will help drive efficient wage reimbursements, workers’ compensation payments, and financial reporting across multiple PeopleIN brands.
Key responsibilities
- Process Early Intervention (EI) invoices and wage reimbursements with precision and timeliness
- Manage finance inboxes, payment approvals, and reporting across our brands
- Reconcile Wage Reimbursement Schedules (WRS) and liaise with insurers to ensure funds are recovered
- Support end-of-month processes and compliance reporting
- Keep our financial systems and injury management platform accurate, up-to-date, and audit-ready
- Collaborate closely with the Recover at Work and Finance teams to deliver great outcomes for our people
- Experience in accounts payable, payroll, or financial administration
- A keen eye for accuracy and detail
- Confidence working with Microsoft Excel and finance systems
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude
- An understanding of workers’ compensation or injury management is highly desired
